Leadership Development Programs

Shire’s Early Talent Development Programs consist of both internship and full-time rotational opportunities that serve as pipelines of high performing and high potential early talent for the organization. These programs are offered within the company’s Information Technology, Finance and Technical Operations functions. Each member of the rotational program will gain the experience of broad and diverse career opportunities by rotating through 3-4 different areas of the company within their field of study over a span of 2-3 years. During this time, each participant is paired with a senior leader mentor to help them acclimate to the corporate culture and build their professional network. In addition, Shire’s Early Talent Development Programs are strategically designed with different projects and planned professional and networking events to enhance members’ leadership skills and give them exposure across the company.
